The fourth batch of Star Wars art. I liked the Max Rebo Band poster a lot in this series. But I’m also pleased to have started the Force-Choke series. Once I come back to Star Wars, I’ll have to add Admiral Motti and Director Krennic to the list.
During this span, I had an appendectomy, hence the angry appendix pic that was sketched on my phone shortly after I came out of surgery. The next day, I was home again, and ready to keep going with the Star Wars pics. This batch includes my first drawings of any Rogue One characters, and the second request (BB-8 was requested by my niece).
Here’s the second batch of Star Wars pieces. I think what I like most about this project is that there are no rules. There’s no specific style to which I must adhere. It’s both freeing and challenging at the same time. Anyway, this batch includes my first departure from the Original Trilogy. More to come.
This year, I’ve decided to become quite a bit more prolific. My goal is to create one new piece of art per day. And since I’d rather spend the time doing the work instead of deciding what to draw, I’ll be splitting the year into month-long themes. For January, I’ve chosen to do Star Wars characters. Obviously, it’s January, so these aren’t new, but I’ll catch up within a week, I imagine. The best of these will end up in my digital art gallery, and of course, if there’s anything you want to see, just send me a message.
