The second story arc ran from April to September 2000. SMU’s Summer break occurred shortly into the story, hence the oddly placed cliffhanger. These strips see the first appearances of Liz and her boyfriend, Lugnut, as well as some much improved art. Also notable: Beanie Maul’s job at Blimpie Subs, which I thought was going to be fun story-wise, but turned out to be super-boring, makes it’s debut here.
