These strips most notably feature the introduction of Matt’s girlfriend, Leia, who is pretty and awesome, to everyone’s surprise. Also introduced is Mail-Man’s mad scientist boss, Dr. Wilé, in his only appearance in the original strip. At this time, I began churning out four strips per week, so the characters began to move and act a lot better, but due to my increased output, the art is still fairly rushed looking. These strips were published in the SMU Daily Campus from August to September 2001.
